My excuse...

Here's my excuse for not participating in the forums for the past nine months or so....



My new digs, nearing completion! ought to be in by June I hope since my husband has planned a weekend long party the third weekend of June!

I'm hoping to head to the coast sometime in June and will hit you up to see if we can catch up and do some beach wheeling!

You know it! The plan is to have a band a couple of times over the weekend, nighttime bonfires, Saturday pig pickin, everyone bring along whatever they want (tents and sleeping bags if desired I'll share some interior pics soon, my jeep is happy to have covered parking and a place for a hardtop hoist! Greg's jeep is happy, too, he can keep his JK stripped for summer and hide underneath when wet weather comes around!

Roof trusses being put together



Floor joists



The monkey bars being put in, in the hallway



Totally stoked about my woodstove





The flooring was just installed a week or so ago, we went with reclaimed southern yellow pine, 200 year old wood from the Ossippe Cotton Mill in NC!



At this point, we're waiting to get electricity and for items like cabinets, railings, etc. to come in
