I have the same bumper/tire carrier. I can almost guarantee you the little golden latch is gonna fall off. As mine did....Not a big deal but still....I realize smitty has kind of a crappy rep, but I'm satisfied with the bumper.

I am curious where you got this one. I think that is the older model and I didn't even know they were still making it. I have the newer one that has the modular tire carrier with a way beefed up latch system that I love from Smittybilt. Also has a class III hitch instead of just an accessory hitch. Looks good though, and just keep a can of flat or satin rustoleum around for when the PC chips.

Thumbs up

^^^^You have the XRC Bumper right? NICE bumper! Anyway, I just received my new issue of the FourWheelParts jeep catalog and the Smittybilt SRC bumper (bumper in photos) was still included in the catalog. I guess they are still available for people to order....

I am confused. On Smittybilt's website, the SRC is a tube style rear bumper:

SRC Rear Bumpers - Smittybilt

And you are correct, mine is the XRC, but the one you have was the older model of the XRC. When I got mine that too was still available.

In any case, nice bumper, you will like it.

Same as I got sans recovery points-like mine and no real problems black paint bomb doesn't fix. Very satisfied with it for the price overall.

I stay away from Smittybilt website for that exact reason.

I usually check FourWheelParts.com
Classic Rock Crawler Rear/Tire Carrier Bumper with D-rings by Smittybilt-RH3
