I bought this 2013 Commando Green stock from Capistrano Jeep. Previously, I had already decided on everything I wanted to do, but I wanted to drive it stock for awhile first to fully appreciate the improvements from the mods I was going to do. I had also previously decided to use Rebel Off-Road to do the installation, and they were the ones who pointed me to that specific dealership because they are unique in that they are willing to work with Rebel on financing. Not only was I offered fleet price with no haggle, but I was able to roll the cost of all the upgrades at Rebel into the financing I got done at the dealership. I was only out-of-pocket the down payment. If anyone is in the So. California area and is looking at buying a new JK to mod out, I can't recommend this strategy highly enough!

Don't I know it! Next up on the list is a Gobi roof rack with some more lights by Rigid up on the light rack. But I'll be 100% out of pocket on that, so....patience.

I will second that. The spelling error reminded me of a visit to the dealership with my uncle when I was a kid. My Uncle had bought a new jeep and mechanic's name was Chevy and his English was not great. He told my uncle "Nice Heep" and as they talked about it Chevy kept calling it a "Heep" and my uncle said it is brand new it is not a Heep. The mechanic Chevy said "I can't Heep so I say Heep". I about died laughing because my I could tell my uncle was getting upset with his new ride being called a Heep.

Your jeep looks sick! Love it. I am gonna be pulling the trigger on a lift and tires for my JKU Sahara. I know you have 17" wheels, but can I ask what the width and backspacing you have? Also what size tires?

Wow, sorry for the late reply, I need to check this forum more often. The width is 12.5" and I'm fairly certain the guys who mounted my wheels did not need to do anything special regarding backspacing. They are 35" tires.

Sorry, it just occurred to me you're asking aboout wheel width, not tire width. Those rims are 8.5" wide with 4.5" of backspacing. 0 offset. And they tuck under the factory fenders quite nicely. If you were thinking of going coilover, you could do the same setup but with 3.5" backspacing and the tires would still tuck under quite well.

Nice! You do realize that as a Jeep owner, you are NEVER DONE modding it! Not EVER!

Take her out on a dark, moonless night. "Honey, we need more lights."

Yep, I'm trying to convince her that a roof rack w/lights is more important than a new driveway! LOL
