My truggy

It began life as an 88 Ford F350 truck. Its not 113.5 wheelbase, 460, c6, 205, 5.13's with welded cases, hydro steering, 10pt NHRA cage, rear mounted radiator, 3 link front suspension with TJ coils, 1 link rear suspension with TJ coils...all handcrafted from the ground up.

Ok, I saw this thread as I was reading your SOA thread about the Sahara and I was wondering about the suspension on your truggy. Instead of using control arms and the like, you used your wishbone design to mount the axle to the frame? I've got an 06 TJ and though I lack your tools, and more importantly your expertise, I'm always looking for new ways to build it. How exactly did you mount that rear axle and do you think there'd be a way to do that with say a D60 and TJ?

By the way, your work is spectacular or maybe I should put this

I will see if I have any closer pics of the setup. A TJ wouldnt be any different really, its very simple and easy to build. Just some 3x2 box tubing

As always, very impressive.

I built one like this recently. But it was a 1/10 Axial Honcho.

Yeah, that doesn't look like it'd be too bad at all. I'm definitely gonna have to keep that design in mind when I start putting the new suspension together. Thanks for the extra photo!
