New Lift, Wheels, and Tires

Before

After

Rubicon Express 3.5" lift; 16" Pro Comp Steel Wheels, 35" Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ.

5:13 gears to be installed next week.

Granted, I've only had it for 1/2 of a day, but the ride is great. Looking forward to gettin' her dirty!!

Dang 5.13s? isn't that a little high? I'm just asking because for tj's and a 4.0L engine recommended gears for 35's are 4.88s...

Yeah ...it's saving me a little money cause the guy doing the work has them in stock. AND!! ...I know me well enough that 37" tires are a definite maybe in the future.

Yeah ...I just saw that post. I'm going to try and keep that weekend free and bring my son with me. Cause my wife's idea of "roughing it" is NEVER TO DO IT!!

Totally cool is that!

Can I ask a stupid question? Why does everyone switch to smaller wheels when doing a lift and putting on bigger tires?

^ There is a bigger tire selection for small diameter wheels. 15-16 inches have huge selection...

That lift and wheels looks AWESOME!!! it is amazing how different it looks. I love it! That almost makes me want to sell my TJ and get a new Jeep!

Different engines and transmissions... and weight. 5.13's are NEEDED when putting 35's or larger on a JK.
