New Winch Bumper/Stinger and 4" Lift

Earlier this week I installed a 4 inch Pro-Comp suspension lift, then last night I added a Brook's Custom's winch bumper/stinger, and mounted my Recon 17,500LB winch...haven't mounted the fairlead or finished wiring the winch due to the storm, but will tomorrow hopefully!

And yes, that is an "H2 Recovery Team" sticker on the winch! I jack with a buddy unmercifully about his mall crawler!

That's a sweet Jeep. How long is that stinger exactly? Seems huge to me, but I'm not a stinger fan I guess. Also, what rims are those?

It is freakin huge!! 42 inches long...Bigger than I thought it would be, but I kinda like it. The wheels are MD Chaos 5's...It's Discount Tires' house brand, actually...A relative got me a sweet deal on the set...

Dang that is huge o_o I don't think I could grow to love something like that lol. I love the rest of the jeep though, I might look at those rims, I've been looking at all black, or black with some chrome.

Your going to need two parking places...I hope you don't ever need to make a tight turn in the woods

How much front end sag did you get with a 17,500 pound winch?

Actually there was hardly any sag at all, but maybe that's because of the brand new front springs...? It is sitting very level right now. And no, don't need 2 parking spaces, it extends out less than 3 feet from the grill, it's just tall.

I dunno, starting to like it a bit but haven't made up my mind...at least I can have it cut down a bit if I decide to.

I did tell my fiancee when she saw it that I dropped a Viagra in the radiator and that's what happened! SPROING! LOL

If you hang on the front of that stinger you could probably lift the rear wheels off the ground! Would make it easy to put jack stands under the rear!!
That thing would look pretty scary coming up on you in the rearview mirror.

sweet jeep and to bad the stinger does not have a spot for a pully that thing would work as a nice boom for moving heavy stuff around the yard

Oh is that all!!!

I have to ask about the winch . . . what made you decide to buy something so huge (I guess while I'm asking about the winch I should ask the same question about the stinger) . . . seems like 8-10k is plenty for a little Jeep?
