I was thinking I would either cut those ones or...maybe try those Xenon (?) flat fender ones. I like that look.

Another way to make those fenders black would be to get a heat gun on them.. Works great!

Thanks for the idea...didn't know about that. But I found these on you tube. Very interesting.

Thanks all for the comments. It's still a ways away from what I want but I am happy so far! I have done all the work by myself (alone) from stock, so I am pleased.

dude i vote for the flat flares. those things look really aggressive and it looks like that is the direction you are going.
i like the bushwacker's better than the xenon's though

Even though your fenders DO match your hardtop I would try and get like a 20-30$ heat gun and see what the fenders look like with the top. If they don't, get the xenon

Great-looking ride! I love the "H2 Recovery" sticker, too - I can't stand those bloated P'sOS - good riddance to them, too (The Chinese can have them). Anyway, I like how your Jeep looks with the stock flares (just my $0.02). Liked learning about the heat-gun trick, also. Good luck, not matter which way you go. Great color.

Here is the latest pic. Put 35's on and trimmed the fender flares.
