I saw a guy in a HUGE pickup truck once that went illegally wheeling in a lowered down reservoir. He got a little too close to the wet edge and sank down like this. By the time I saw him he had been working with a shovel for a couple of hours, and looked like he had a few hundred more to go. Absolutely nothing I could do to help, other than take a turn with the shovel. Which I didn't do - not my freakin' fault he was dumb as a rock.
