Not mine...seen in Ft. Collins, Colorado recently.

a friend of a friend i met, pulled the exact same truck out of the weeds it had been sitting in for years, replaced some minor parts, no rebuild, and drives it daily. its all worn looking, but perfectly, it looks like he did it on purpose, he gets great gas mileage to. iirc he said somewhere around 30 mpg.

I really like that level of restoration. Make it look like a time-warp machine, like it was purchased a couple years ago brand new, and just driven.

So many restorations make them look so much better than new.

And of course, so many Willys are now built up into something huge. Also very cool, but so different.
