I put a tranny in mine 2 months ago, (due to alot of trailering with it and no tranny cooler, I think 116,ooo overheated miles did it) but other than that, the only thing I've replaced was a battery and the oil pressure sending unit ($16) and you naught not believe this but the factory brake pads lasted to 99k miles! And I got more pics up here somewhere of things I've built and added on, and knock on wood, my 4.o motor is still just as smooth as the day I bought it, my wife wants me to get a new 4 door but if I do, its already gonna be JACKED!! and you'll find alot of jk haters up here (hell, I used to be one)

That is one of the best thing I heard was not much work. Why do they hate JK? It is a jeep right?

Just me but I hate they left the 4.0. Its a dam good motor, and in my opinion, a Jeep is supposed to be short, and easily maneuverable, so if you stretch it out and add 2 more doors, its not a wrangler, its a Cherokee, but there growing on me, if they are built right, my biggest thing now is the "nosed down" raked out front ends! I ain't never liked that either, I heard they do it for a bit more aerodynamics, and to keep the hood from "fluttering"

I don't have a Mango tango one but it is my favorite color out of all the Jeep colors. My 4 door, climbs everything I point it at & the length has been an advantage not a disadvantage, it will outclimb the short wheelbases on a lot of steep climbs. I had a TJ & liked the motor but mine is reliable & does what I want it to do plus more I think it's up to the person who is buying one, the length is personal preferrence but I can tell you the 4 door is a great Jeep
