2006 was when I got my first DSLR - but I grew up with a camera in my hand (Instamatic, 110's, and then eventually 35mm)

Both of those were handheld shots - Nikon D300 w/ 300mm f4 - the dragonfly also used the Canon 500D thread on macro filter

Beautiful! I hope to get there someday! And over my girly fear of bugs lol. that's my biggest hindering factor really. Luckily, lately I've felt like the camera lens is some kind of forcefield. Good thing with bugs. Not a good thing when shooting jeeps on the trails haha.
