This is an interesting thread but I'll submit my entry. Went out and tried to get a decent picture but I guess there are too many trees so this is the best I could do...

I just move into it. November in Kansas...good luck with green grass let alone green anything.

I take care of my yard. The spring after.

Yeah, after that, I quite asking my home owners association for approval to do things, and just did them. I'm the only one on my street that takes pride in their property. My lawn is always mowed, trash cans put up behind the fence, house in good condition. No one else care's about their property. Trash on the front lawns (which always ends up in my yard), trash cans always left out, fences falling down, lawns unmowed & full of weeds up to the knees......I could go on. I gotta move to the country where I know my neighbors will actually BE animals instead of acting like them.

Nope just ask my wife and two kids.

Yes, and a great wife, she's even put up with countless years of me working unrealistic hours on end and years deployed away from her.

Everyone is different bud as is each relationship. We agree to disagree sometimes. I refuse to argue or I turn it into a joke to make her smile at first chance. I honor life to much to waste time with pointless arguements or such things. Most arguement people look back on and think of how dumb it was in the first place. I like to live with my cup more than half full.

you're on #1, this is #2 for me and I had older teenage step kids in the house.....I have my deployments yearly sometimes as much as 10, especially in storm season, sure we disagree about things now and then.....step kids increase the difficulty factor of marriage by 100. Never divorce the one you have, or let her divorce you or you'll step into the deep abyss of "married with step children" Only then will you understand. Pray you never find out....................

Well here is my spread.

Garage pic.

And my shipping container cabin I just finished, with a few small exceptions.
My shipping container blog. I decided to do a blog on this project to maybe help others interested in doing something like this because when I started it, I could find no help at all, and I had never done anything quite like it.
