My little hangout out/workshop/MANCAVE area. My two toys are in the main part of the barn.
The workbench/bar (notice minifridge in the left corner tool boxes at the right and grinder dremel orbital sander drill yada yada inbetween)
The kings chair I took carpentry in boces and get creative when I'm bored.
Sony stereo with sony sub and two pioneer tower speakers with PS3 on top of the sub.
Only one I have of the TV I hung on the ceiling and couch on the wall. When someone drinks to much we throw them on that couch to keep them out of the way so they can sleep it off. Ohh don't mind the freak in the last picture by the way.
well, if things go right, i'll be working on my man cave starting march.. 40x60x14' metal shop.. i'm waiting to see what my job status ends up being when this project ends march 1 for me.. if things go well, i'll make sure i post pics of the build from the driveway install, to the slab, to the erection of the steel, and door install.. :-)
lost my "man caves" in the fckn divorce......but....maybe I`ll build some more one day.....gotta try to look at the bright side I guess....I built an awesome bar once, I can do it again.... lost my shop also.....Nice places guys, enjoy them!! Bushwrangler, your local says 2hrs north of nyc.....Im about 2-2 1/2 north, what town you in?
I know I have posted some of these pictures already, but I posted them from my I Pod and they were kinda crappy.
Here is a before pic from September 2008:
The door in the background is to a bathroom. And I believe the TV on the rickety stand is the last tube TV in the world.
And here is a pic from July 2010 with the same bathroom door in the background:
Here is a pic of the bar from another angle:
The little screen on the right hand side is the touch-screen jukebox.
Up close of the touch screen jukebox:
Yes, that is a Poison album you there on the screen. Sue me. The device temporarily screwed into the wall under the screen is for an I Pod. This enables my guests to bring their own songs and playlists to the bar. It really is kinda neat. I can then take those songs and add them to the jukebox.
Killians on tap:
Up close of the actual bar:
What'll ya have?
Here are some "action" shots of the bar in use...even tho, it is not completed yet. That is my wife playing beer pong.
Some of my pals choosing songs on the drunk-friendly Jukebox.
We are #1!! At what? I do not know.
Much more work to be done on my man-cave. Wood floor, walls...the basics. Problem is, as soon as tap and jukebox went it and the parties started...construction slowed.
