You all have my deepest THANK YOU for keeping my butt safe at night... Btw just got back from taking my father back to Vietnam after 40 years. What an emotional experience that was. For those of you just returning, by all means the VA has some great programs and keep in mind you are not alone...

First deployments are usually the most memorable. My most memorable would be my last deployment.

Thank you all for serving our country. You are the true heroes behind our freedom. I wish more people would see things as they really are. Thanks and God bless each of you.

Well here's some shots of me in SW Asia during OEF. I deployed a few days after 9/11. I was an E-6 Technical Sergeant then, I retired in 2004 as a E-7 MSgt with 21.5 years of active duty under my belt. Held three AFSC's Started off as a 645X1 Supply, then retrained to 111x0 B52 Defensive Aerial Gunner, and when they canned all of us Gunners, I became a 3v0X2, Still Photographer. When I retired I was the Base Multimedia Manager and Part time Support Flight Superintendent.

First pic is me documenting the action on the ramp.

This next shot is me helping with Mail call around Christmas

The last shot is one of me waiting for the Ambassador of the US to show up for a VIP tour..

Thanks to all my Brother and Sisters who have served and I salute all of you.

Mike
