I have to look it close. It isn't the greatest thing I kind of agree.

Nice. I need to do the same. I'm 110 miles in and waiting for the first opportunity.

Nice lookin' rig!
The Duratracs are awesome tires. Quiet on the road, sick in the ice and snow, and they are awesome in the sand. Most tires do fine in the sand if you drop the psi to 12-15.

Those are GenRight hood vents. It's slow going in 4 Lo on the sand. About 20'ish is the top speed and at high revs. And it's invariably hot as f$%k out. The hood vents help with the air flow to keep the temps down under the hood. I know there are way cooler (no pun intended) heat reduction hoods and even vents out there. But these were less than $50 and I think they look pretty good.

GenRight Hood Vent

I did a post about the TJ awhile ago.

She goes in today for some more work

Here's mine evolving from bone stock the day we brought her home from the dealer...

to the first phase of mods (replaced stock Rubi rock rails, replaced tires/wheels with Black Rock Yumas and 285/75/17 Toyo Open Country M/Ts and added 3" Teraflex lift)....

This week replacing bumpers with Poison Spyder Custom ones. RockBrawler Lite up front and RockBrawler tire carrier in the back. Adding Superwinch Talon 9,500-lb winch, Warn driving lights, changing out stock diff covers with PSC ones and putting on a PSC cross member.

Shop will have her until Wednesday. Can't wait to get her back and see how everything comes out.

Yeah. 33's. I like them. I thought they'd be REALLY loud on-road, but they're not. I haven't really worked 'em out off-road yet.

Very cool. Thanks for the info. I would not have the guts (nor the skills) to cut into my rig. Not yet anyway...

Myself and El Gringo went to general Sams off road park yesterday. Suffered some license plate damage! Bumper too, but its ok, I'm ordering a new bumper and winch probably today or tomorrow(pay day). I posted some other pictures under my images. Not sure how you all can get to them.

No, lol, had to get a little tug so I could crawl the rest of the way out. Some mud tires would have helped. I just have the stock all terrains
