only had my 2000 Sahara about a month and not physically able to thrash on it so looks pretty much like I got it xcept switched the hard top for the soft top. Loved the couple of weeks topless but oregon weather is what it is.
Much prefer the soft top to the hard top BTW Gonna wait til dead of winter and sell the hard top.
Five days and 130 miles later and I am loving this black beauty! I had owned 2 jeep libertys. My first Wrangler and I use any excuse to drive someplace. Heavy rain today and no leaks. Sound system is very nice. The tires hold the road very well through hilly and winding country roads. Having fun driving again
Hello fellow Black Wrangler lovers. This is my first post to this thread as I'm proud/excited to say I finally pulled the trigger on a black JKU sahara. Just placed the order Saturday so I'm now going to find it hard to do anything productive for the next "4-6 weeks" (according to my dealer, Farrish of Fairfax, VA).
My order process went very smooth. Did most everything over the phone and through email. I used the USAA car buying service and feel like I got a very nice deal. USAA had a $1K rebate for members that expired today and on top of their below invoice pricing, my dealer gave me 2% off for the tread lightly membership deal. got him to throw in some slush matts and a fuel filler door for free also. Couldnt be happier so far with my interactions with the guys at Farrish.
Specs are as follows:
black leather/heated seats
body colored hard top/dual top group
7 spoke wheels (like the 70th anniversary edition wheels)
a/c with auto temp controls
media center 430n
max tow group
can't wait to get my new Jeep so I can throw some pics on and really join this thread!
