I could be wrong but i dont think its legal to run in the States. That motor will not pass our emission standards. Odd cause in other countrys it seems most are diesel. In fact the crappy rental car i had was a Audi diesel manual.

Since there are detailers here, what is the secret to caring for the unpainted black plastic fender trim pieces? I have seen a number of jeeps that are a few years old where they look almost white and I think that looks like crap.

No clue. When you shake it up... does it look the same?

For new black plastic... I'd recommend 303 Aerospace Protectant. For old abused black plastic... Mothers Back to Black works pretty good.

Anyone ever try zaino bros (zainostore.com) I used it on a few cars in past n it lasted a very long time..can be a bit tedious in application and a bit pricey though

Yup. Surprisingly, i've been using poor boys products lately for everything other than polish/wax/sealant and they are great. You get a lot for your money there, shit I think OTC products are more expensive!

Why did you go with the 17" instead of 15? (Wondering before I pull the trigger on new rims/tires next month)

I use it on show cars but wouldn't waste my time using it on a Jeep.

I'm no professional detailer but I do like to keep all my cars very clean. As a result, I have always used the Klasse glaze and sealant twice a year, once in the spring and then again in the winter.
Klasse Wax Best in Show Microfiber Kit

I then try to wash and clean every week followed up by waxing every other week with some good carnauba wax like Blitz or even best of show wax from Griots garage
