Howdy all. We have a TJ in Flame Red and a JKU in Rock Lobster. I love the new color. Many times the reds both look the same. But on a sunny day the RL really looks it's best. It's electric. I see it has it's haters, but honestly I think it's people who just don't have the personality to pull it off. My best Jeep waves come from Geckos, Crushes, Cosmos and Detonators. They get it. If you're shy, neutered, or can't park at the golf range on a Tuesday afternoon without catching flack, you'd better just stick with silver/white/black.

The following is from a Forbes article by Matthew de Paula, and I think it explains what you see with RL best:
“Colors were more flat 20 or 30 years ago, so we now have a lot more what we call ‘travel,’ where a color looks very bright from one angle and dark from another. This trend is starting to spread from neutral tones to bright colors. Using white primer as a base underneath the paint to make hues of all kinds brighter is another trend on the rise."

To me, RL is Flame Red with with dash of Crush and a white primer to give it "travel." Glad I got mine while it was available.

New Ace Pro-Series front bumper. The LED light bar is on back order, but man these things are badass.

That looks like Sedona, right? Nice shots, the snow must have been fun. It's a beautiful spot had my RL there 6 months back or so!

33 nittos and a 2.5" teraflex spacer - which really have it about 3. Installed it within about 5 hours ourselves. Fun times learning the bottom of my jeep!
