Show Us Your State

I am into nature photography. I enjoy landscapes. I also like to travel, though I have not been in several states. I thought it would be cool to see pictures you have taken of your state. Please do not include stock photos from the tourism department. Make these pictures you have taken. Please limit to three photos.

Here are my submissions from ARKANSAS...

North Central Arkansas, Little Red River, Swinging Bridge...

Central Arkansas, Pinnacle Mountain State Park Observation Deck...

Eastern Arkansas, Duck Hunt near McCrory...

And then my favorite sunset beach pic from RinCon Beach in Ventura County.

Okay I just noticed the 3 pic limit in your original post. Ooops. I'm the admin though so it's okay.

Hey Jack, my in-laws work at beaver lake during the "tourist" season. they drive the motorhome up there and stay. They are park attendants / park managers at Dam Site Park. that place is beautiful up there! the wife and I go up every summer to stay at the park where her mom and dad work. maybe this summer when we ( wife and i) head up there, we can meet up for a few cold ones!!!

Sounds like fun. Our house is right across from Rocky Branch Marina about halfway up the lake. You can miss it. We are just about the most noticeable house on the whole lake. Unfortunately I don't get out there as much as I'd like living in AZ now, but I should be there for about a week around 4th of July. Let's keep in touch. We've got 3 fridge's stocked solely for beer on the property so you are never more than 20 yards from a cold one.

The chemical plants are down in South Jersey, that place is a freakin slum!

The strip clubs are in Morris County

And I'm the resident wise guy!

The NJ sign was taken on Rt 94 at the border of Vernon Twp NJ and Warwick, NY. The morning mist was taken on Rt 565 in Wantage. And the sunrise was taken from my yard on Vernon Valley Lake.

I have not got a real chance to go get some better pictures but these are the two I have.

This is a hour out of St Louis right on the Mississippi.

I'll have to get a picture of the ferry that goes across the river.
