So I was told to take my jeep out wheelin before my lift and rims/tires upgrade.

and I did, just to get a feel for the stock capabilities. I took some shots. The only upgrades now, are a 29" BFG A/T's

I have waiting to go on, an HP Dana 30 (3:73), a ford 8.8, LSD (3:73), a 2" BB, 5 Black craiger (15x8 w/4 inch backspacing) soft 8's, and tomorrow Im picking up my 5 32x11.50X15

opinions on this set up? Im on the road mainly 95% of the time.

Heres the pics. I was supprised I did as well as I did. The jeep made it over everything except the gravel..I had to get pulled out haha

You may have gotten thru the gravel if you aired down.

1st, why the HP 30? I will guess current gears don't match the 8.8?
2nd. why not some 33's.....

Thanks guys, I went with hp Dana b/c it's a bolt in with ok tolerance and it matched the 3:73 8.8 I already had, then I got 32's so I can keep decent mpg's and that's a better match for my 3:73 gearing. Plus I get new 32's for 500 mounted balanced and nitrogen filled.

I'm looking forwArd to getting all this on

See we can't have that much fun in our Beemers, just a different kind. One question tho, If you go with nitrogen, you won't be able to lower the pressure on the trail and raise it back before hitting the street, unless you carry a nitro tank with you. Doesn't sound like a good idea on the trail. Something to think about.

Yup, air down and the gravel isn't such a problem. And Fatbob, Jack told me he didn't love you at all.

Ahh yes the Beemer would not have had a chance at a speed bump let alone this. And about the tire filling, I never thought of that, its just a favor my buddy who owns the penzoil was going to give me, along with tax free at cost 32's with no mounting charges or anything (thats a huge favor). Ill let him know regular air will be just fine anyhow.

Whats the end caps were talking about? Is there a reason to get rid of them?

Lastly, will my 2" BB allow me to be ok with the 32s? Im reading different things. I can get a 1 inch BL if needed. I want to look good and stay functional too!

I believe they are referring to the plastic pieces on each end of your front/rear bumper; I think by removing them you give more room for your tires and such once you get your lift on and whatnot.

Don't quote me though...I'm a noob :-)

Yea, I saw em today and took off the fronts...I'll leave the rear for now.

I'm grabbing some tubing tomorrow to fab up a bumper soon.
