Did a little off roadin' saturday. My cousin and I were playing around at Spring Creek on 12-19-2008 (Outside Tomball Texas). We wheeled for a while, and then we met a guy riding at the creek as well. Little did I know this guy was an olympic freestyle mudder. I remember him saying " Why didn't someone tell me it was that deep?" To his credit, if he had hit it a little harder...he would have rolled through it..as you see, that didn't happen!

Playin in the Rubiclone

My cousin tryin' his out (just got it)

Next page shows the guy we met "goin' deep!"

I had / have this posted on another forum as well. Well today I see I had recieved a reply to the thread on the other forum. One of the moderators "AXED" my thread as he put it because the green Jeep in the deep mud hole was was breaking the law of waterways - Bill 155 Texas Waterways.

The guy was in a freaking MUD HOLE!!! So we go back and forth about this for a while.

This is direct from PM's on the other forum. We will call this guy Moderator.
Moderator:The Creek is north of Huston. I know where it is.
Sorry but those pictures you had look like the overflow field up there. So much so the reason I really noticed it was a P&W (Parks & Wildlife) friend of mine wanted me to give him your information... (and not for a good reason). I removed the posts instead. Next time, include obvious pictures showing the entire mud-hole and make sure it's not in a field or something or that would void the tread lightly philosophy which again would get an axe. Mudding is hard and tricky in Texas...

My response:My contact info is:

By all means, please have your friend contact me about someone driving in a mud hole (not in the middle of a field). I would enjoy that. You sir, are just plain wrong here. I don't usually throw fits, or raise stink about petty things such as this, but this one really gets under my skin.

So this goes back and forth until about 2:00 this afternoon. After I posted the following Google Earth view of the exact mud hole showing it was in no way the "creek"

Moderator responds:Cherokee found a photo that I think helps to tell the P&W people where to stick it. But if you guys have any of YOUR photos showing the complete mud hole, I recommend posting them also just for added clarification (and your personal protection from those very litigious turds). Thanks for hanging in there and not going off the handle.

The PM conversation was somewhat DEEPER that that, but I left out the ugy details. Have any of you ever had this happen to you on any Jeep forums?
