Thanks. It was origionally going to be bigger with a lot more involved, but my artist was having issues redrawing it traditional style because they are so specific..I like it either way.

I want to get a tattoo. But I haven't found anything worth putting on my body for the rest of my life. I know some people just love cool designs and colorful works of art. But I want it to mean something. Any of y'all like that? And did you search for something to get or just let it come to you??

Also. I love the traditional style tattoos, with lots of red, blue and green. Like the classic rose tattoo with a ribbon around it with a saying or what not. That style. I think they're great pieces.

All of mine have meaning, and I look at them as kind of like a roadmap of my life, in a way. Sounds corny, I know. I love traditional work, which most of mine are. This is the one I got for my mom:

Talk to an artist. If you give a good artist an idea, they can draw something up, and you might just fall in love with it. Of my 6 tattoos, only 1 has no meaning. It bugs me when I look at it, but theres nothing I can do about it now. The thing with traditional tattoos, is that they have to be done a certain way. They are normally darker colored ( I had mine brightened up) and everything in them has a meaning of some sorts. Take your time, and do your research. Good luck.

Here's the 2 traditional tattoos I have. Sadly the rose was for my Ex wife, so have to do a bit of work to the name lol.
The anchor is brand new, got it last night.

Only children and loved ones who have passed on names should live forever on your body

My little monkeys, 2 weeks later my father passed unexpectedly and I put his initials on my tree.

And my caduceus

Yeah made that mistake once, thought after 13 yrs together was safe. Nope, was definitely a bad idea, only other names on me are my daughter and a best friend who passed away.

Have to get the lettering fixed(should've listened to my tattoo artist) but they are my children's actual footprints-one on the top of each foot. Loved how they turned out! People always comment about their toes. They have the normal amount of toes but my daughter's looks like she has 6 toes & my son's looks like he has 4....that's how I know the artist did it perfect because that's exactly how their birth certificates look! LOVE IT!!

Only one so far. My kids' names are next. Not going to same guy. Instead of looking like it's coming out of my skin it looks likr it's wearing a t shirt. Still like it though. More detail than what I originally drew up.

Only have two so far. I am planning on a thigh piece if I ever get my pilot's license.

The ribs are old Elysia lyrics "Just because you close your eyes doesn't mean the world disappears"

And the triangle is a delta, for change.

Edit: I am just standing at a odd angle, i swear my the tattoo is evenly spaced
