Thank you! I should have posted a pic of the tattoo now, instead of when it was fresh.

I looked at TONS of owls and styles. I'd wanted a tattoo for 20 years before deciding at 40 to go for it. I liked this one because of its youthful tone. Wanted a bit of the of the "I love to singa" owl look.

Here is mine, a tribute to my Dad. He and seven buddies from the War (WWII) each had an 8-Ball tattoo.

I'm 48 yrs old & never did get anything, although I think I would have done it in the right circumstances. Wonder what the oldest person to get their first tat was.

Pretty fascinated with the ripped skin tats. I like the one with the Jeep bustin thru. My brother has one similar to this.

I bet with all the suspension guys in here something like this would be really cool

My nephew is a baby marine and getting his first tats. He wants one to tribute his grandpa (my dad). I found a pic of dad's tat that he got while in Vietnam:

I updated it some, and replaced the flowers with flames, but kept the original slogan on it ; death before dishonor. I'm taking this rough sketch to an artist to be ready for when my nephew comes home for Christmas, and this will be his present:

My most recent two Cadillac logo is a cover up, and the start of my sleeve, I also have the np231 display on me, stay true across my wrists, the Red Sox B, a tribal bears face inside of a bear paw, and a quote "blind eyes could look at me and see the truth" on my back

Love seeing all the new ink! The peacock is beautiful, JKRookie!

I've been wondering where this thread was! Curious why it was moved from the "Pictures" forum to "Off Topic"? I get that it's not about Jeeps, but there are a ton of picture threads not related to Jeeps in the Pictures forum ...
