TiltShift

Hey there!

Just sharing the idea of Tilt shift photos with you all. It's an optical illusion that makes the subject of the photo look a bit like a toy. It's a neat effect. I did this with a photo I posted the other day, and people seemed interested.

The BEST way to do this is with a special camera lens.
The next best way is with some careful photoshop effects.

The EASY way is to use this web site: tiltshiftmaker.com - Transform your photos into tilt-shift style miniatures

It works best with photos with interesting backgrounds, and with the Jeep a bit further away. It's least interesting with a nice closeup.

POST YOURS!

I'm at home, and don't have a ton of photos here. So I just stole this shot from another post. Hope you don't mind.

Sweet!
The blue TJ looks better than I would have guessed.

The problem with using the tiltshift web site is that it only gives you a straight horizontal band. So the one with the vehicles going diagonally doesn't work well. It's a great photo though!

I rotated the whole image. Which ruins the photo, but works better tilted.
