Ouch!

That does not look like a healthy line.

I bet I could spend a lot of money going over that ledge.

The Parts and Service Department would love me.

But like my Jeepin' buddies all say: "If your going to do it...Make sure it leaves a mark."

Chicks dig Drag Marks!

That line is called "The Terminator" and is the trails namesake because if your not careful your driveline will be terminated. Its just a few feet from the z-turn exit line that 1BLKJP took in his photo. I had some excellent spotters and I didn't damage anything. Just a few handsome scrapes on the rock rails and skids.

I high centered it on the rock rails. Just another 6 inches and I wouldve been home free. ha. A quick tug from the yellow strap and was all it took to free me.

Heres a funny photo from the side:

You know what's funny is they do and over the years I have heard us Rockcrawlers described as the "Fanatic Fringe" by DC engineers. But they have listened hence the birth of the Rubicon.

The "father of the Rubicon" and the ramrod that finally got the Rubicon approved
for mass production is Jim Repp, one of Jeep's senior most engineers. He's been at Jeep since the AMC days and is a hard-core CJ-owning Jeeper himself. A good guy!
