No - not that expensive, just a tie-rod and tie-rod end. Maybe $100.

Just try tightening up that bolt then. If not, try and find some extended sway bar links to replace those DIY disconnects with.

You only need to replace them if the noises they're making are bothering you. Eventually you should get something better for disconnects but they're doing their job for you right now.

There is no cage in the front. There are just two bars to hold the windshield up. I'm saving pennies to get a RockHard cage because I won't be doing anything too extreme, but will be easy to remove and replace with a better cage later on if wanted.
