Turkey vs Jeep

yesterday I was cruising around 45 mph when I collided with a friggin' turkey.
Sounded like a bomb going off when it hit and I nearly lost control.
Other than a couple of small cuts I'm fine but sadly the turkey did not make it and even more sadly.....
I did not take it home and fry it

These pics would have been so much cooler had I posed with the turkey on my hood redneck style

Wow, I hit pheasant one time. It broke my window but not near as bad as that.

Whoa damn! Right in front of your face!

I hit a crane once (the bird) and it messed up my grille pretty bad. Nothing like a turkey to the face though.

Nice... I hit a buzzard that tried to pick up a dead opossum before it flew away while I was doing close to 60 in my CJ. The entrails of the possum ended up weaved through the grille, the possum ended up laying on the hood, and the buzzard hit the windshield frame, but luckily not the glass. It ended up bending back my frame/hinges on the passengers side. A quick swerve slid the possum carcass off the hood, but I had to straighten the windshield frame when I got back as well as fish the possum guts out of the grille.

The Allstate agent did not believe me at first.
My worry right after was that the window frame was bent or the hard top was cracked but they turned out okay.
About four of them shot out of the woods and flew right in front me of and I clocked the last one.
I got it repaced today and it's good as new.

I hit a turkey with my Ford Explorer and it did the same thing. Flipped right over the hood.
