I used to own one of these. I never saw one except for the one I had.



and my mom owned one of these when I was a kid. Hers was the only one I ever saw IRL. Hers was forest green and had the exhaust pipes underneath the doors. Next time I go to visit her, I'll try to track down a real photo of it.

haha. Yeah, I guess. I painted mine primer black. It looked like something from Mad Max. It was tough, had a 289 straight 6. I took it muddin' plenty of times.

I might not have much room to talk. I graduated in 86 and I drove the family car..sorta, dad had moved on. So this..color for color, model..a 67' cadillac calais sedan with a 427 gas guzzling monster is what I drove to high school. And it was GORGEOUS! We dubbed it "Dino the Party Barge".

My girlfriend and my daughter caught these at a convention in may. No.. it isn't a jeep. But by golly you have to drool....

Yes, sunglasses were mandatory to look at these puppies.. Roasted retinas in a heartbeat. But..I mean..but.. zowie!
