Make sure to get some mirror relocation brackets. They move the stock mirrors on the body so that way with no doors you'll still have your mirrors. That way you wont have any trouble with the law.

Get harley mirrors so your passenger side mirror is actually functional.

Just to be sure...will Harley mirrors fit the JK hinges? If they do, I second that recommendation!

Just make sure you wave!!! Most JK's around here still haven't picked up on it...

If the Harley mirrors fit the hinges, you'll love em. Fully functional (albeit, considerably smaller than what you're used to) and pretty cool looking...plus there's so many aftermarket styles out there, you can find something really unique. I just showed my buddy how my mirrors are setup earlier this evening and he went, "Wow...that's pretty slick! I never thought about that before!"

I have never checked the laws here in California. Is it legal to take the doors off and drive on the streets?

Thats the "Old Lady Baby" as we like to call her because she an old hag now but thinks shes a baby. She been my best friend since 1999.

So we ended up with the brackets and this was a bitch...but we got er done. We wanted them to be more functional than the Harley mirrors and these can stay on when we decide to put the door back on. The kit came with flush mounts for the doors. Were happy.

The only problem with the mirror relocation brackets is that if you put the doors back on, your passenger side mirror becomes virtually useless. The door frame blocks the view. That is why I suggested Harley mirrors instead.

Got ya...we could always mount the mirror back on the door or we could try some Harley mirrors down the road. We're newbies at this stuff.

Yeah you can always swap 'em back, I hear the bolts are a real pain.. That's all I was trying to save you from, when I mentioned the Harley mirrors in the first place... Jeep looks great, glad you're loving it!

Well Im learning alot from you guys, thank you. We need to get a cargo net for the back now, so we can put things back there and they wont blow out. 4 By Parts has the one that goes around the roll bar but they are on back order. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
