Weirdest thing that you pulled/towed with your Jeep

Today I straightened my mail box. It was leaning badly from a friend hitting it while backing out of the driveway and someone else from going down the road.

Next, a pickup that tried to go into this water trap from the side, for some stupid reason:

Pulling an auger back on it's wheels after a tornado blew it over.

Empty, of course.

Why does everyone tow with the front? You'd figure there be more torque going forward rather than reverse?
Some please edumecate me!! :]

I can't speak for everyone, but in the two pics I posted, I towed from the front cause it wasn't that bad. The bug was pretty deep, but it's just a bug. And the pick up truck was light as well.

I had to back down the side of the trail and didn't have room to turn around.

in my sport with the dana 30 and dana 44...I'd definitely be towing from the d44 (rear) and not front. I thought that mailbox tow was a joke at first lol

I don't think it makes a difference to the axles which end of the frame your towpoint is attached at. Just that in some jeeps the front tow hooks aren't as strong as the rear hitch receiver.

A plastic garbage can sliced in half from top to bottom, tied with rope to rear bumper. Human being sitting in garbage can, towed around in large snow covered, empty parking lot.

This happened back around 1988. I didn't take a pic, but the college paper did. Sadly I don't have it.
