Where are all the gunmetal blue tjs at?

Haven't seen many on here or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Were they only made certain years? I didn't research it much. I figured this would be the bet place to ask anyways

I always thought mine was gunmetal blue or grey, but when I looked up the paint code I found out that it was actually Steel Blue Pearl. My Jeep is an '01, I think they stopped calling it gunmetal in the late 90's

Finally someone else! I like the black hardtop, I've been planning on painting mine. Post more pics people! And I'm still curious if it was a limited color?

I knew they had the gray in the 2000s. Mines a late 99. Just didn't know how long they made them for

If anyone is interested, and you know your paint code (it's on the door frame sticker) you can look it up here.http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...NGu9GkPklryb_Q

That's a killer tj! I only hope mine can be that big one day. How's the flex with tires that size?

When looking for our TJ we checked out some Gunmetal Grey TJs (manufactured 97-00) before we found "the one". The color is very close to the Steel Blue Pearlcoat (manufactured 01-03) color. The Gunmetal is a light blue color and looks almost light grey at dusk. The Steel Blue color is darker color that also changes shades based on lighting. It is a darker blue in lower light and lighter in bright sun. I ended up getting a Steel Blue and I really like the color.
