Me and my girlfriend just adopted a 2.5-3 year old American bulldog/bull mastiff/ pitbull mix. He's such an amazing dog after being abandoned twice. The other day while I was out my gf took him out to go to the bathroom and he took off on her after looking for an hr all over the neighborhood for him, she came home and he was laying right under my YJ, apparently in the week that I've had him Ive taught him well

Is that a seatbelt harness or a walking harness??? My dog has a throat problem so I need to find him a good chest harness but they all seem like they won't hold up

Chilli is upset and will not stop staring at me because we went out all day in the jeep without her. Bad daddy is the look.

This is our adopted lab mix, Levi. He was already 7yo when we got him. We have now had him for 8 years, more than half his life. Unfortunately, he is filling up with fluid, still eating and drinking, but losing weight. It won't be long till we have to bid adieu....

Thanks for adopting a (somewhat) older dog. Tough times but he looks happy.

I am sure Levi loves being part of your family. It is always saddening to approach an end. Hopefully you have more great moments and you will always have great memories.

I see a lot of people putting their pups in the front passenger seat with no harness or anything. I always have my pup Marley in the back with the seats down and harnessed in. Isn't anyone else worried about having to slam on the brakes for idiot drivers out there?

My dog is in front seat for pics only. When we are actually in motion he is in the back, with his harness properly attached.

My dog won't get in the Jeep. She doesn't trust it.

Dogs are like people, all they require is love and dedication. It hits a soft spot in me when people rescue these beautiful creatures. I am happy you have reached out and made him a new family and wish you a lifetime of happiness with your newfound friend.
