hey, just in case anyone has not heard....
the brand Waggin Train can be seriously bad for dogs. The packages say an american company on them, but they import the treats from china and they have been causing all kinds of issues. Charkie had ONE chicken twist treat and has had some pretty nasty issues from it, she should be ok but other dogs have not been so lucky.

Waggin Train dog treats have been linked widely to things like vomiting, diarrhea, kidney failure, and even death.

Also....blue buffalo can be bad.....don't fall for their commercials....my get told me they don't regulate their foods.....she's had cases where it has literally mineralized dogs' hearts....obviously making it hard to pump blood.

A couple summers ago I hiked with one of our guys up to just above timberline (appox 12000') in the Colorado Sangre di Cristo's and went caving. Took Clyde in one of the smaller caves on Marble Mtn, and he did great. I went first to make certain there weren't any pits or other dangers and he followed right along. None of it bothered him in the least. Here are a few pictures:

Here are our 2 dogs. The one on the left is Boss who is a Newfoundlander and about 4.5 months old. In the picture he is about 3 months old. He is about 50 lbs. right now and will be about 28-30in at the withers and about 180-200lbs when full grown.

My jeep is the Arctic Edition JKU. He matches the colors...coincidence? Nope.

The one on the right is Scarlett, and she is a mutt. We think she is Basset/Rotti/Corgie cross, but not 100% sure as she was rescued at about 2.5 years old. She is now about 5 years old.

We also have a black domestic short haired cat...use your imagination.

Hi FreezerJeep,

Teegan's about 3 1/2 YO now. She was almost 1 YO in the picture I posted. Here's another shot taken at about the 13000' level on a hike/climb up Mt Humboldt here in Colorado. She made it up to the summit (14064') and back down with no problems. Thats about 4200' elevation gain and back down in just over 12 miles for the round trip. All our guys get lots of long hikes. The shoes are for really rocky places, or should they injure a paw. We never take any of the guys on an extended trip without shoes in our packs. It's saved us a number of times.
