Not mine but my friends. We always go to the mountains together and they always pick my jeep over her truck. Danner is a Basset hound and Kailey a Pit Bull / lab. This is them in the jeep before they both took over my passengers seat

heres my boy jack, typical name for a Jack russel mutt huh?

He had that name from the shelter so I kept it. I would have name him Milo, but he already was used to Jack.
He gets very nervous in the jeep on busy roads but he loves going for a ride through the quiet streets.

good looking dogs. Doesn't it just astound you how fast they grow in a year. 1 to 3 years old were the testy years with both are goldens, but well worth it. Coty is laying next to me now. just sleeps without a care in the world.

PLEASE don't have your dog's fur shaved unless there are medical reasons to do so.

Their coats protect them from the heat and weather as well as the cold and weather, as the fur allows air to be trapped between the skin and outside, insulating the dog. Shaved dogs are much more at risk of heat stroke and sunburn than unshaved ones.

If the vet told you to get your dog shaved for a reason other than a skin condition (hot spots, mange, etc.), find another vet. There are plenty of vets out there who don't have the sense God gave the average rock. I've met a fair few. They're usually the ones who can't tell the difference between a German Shepherd and a Malinois and recommend Iams and Science Diet as "great quality foods."
