Haha, thanks. Leo is 6 he's my best friend and running partner. My husband just got another Chocolate Lab in Dec. he just turned two and he's in the process of training him for the upcoming duck season. Leo loves to hunt, but it will be nice to give him a break and have Mocha there to share the work.

My Yellow Lab is just a pet now, she's 9 and after two ACL replacements she doesn't move too fast, it's tough watching them age.

They are absolutely beautiful, what are their ages? The one on the right looks to be young. My daughters Yellow Lab just turned 4, he's with us 90% of the time since they have no yard at their current place. He's very white like yours.

@Lab Lover, he is young! That's Doc, he's just about 8 months old. He is CRAZY!!! The three of us went on a ride earlier today and he damn near jumped out of the Jeep trying to get a better sniff at the air. He is almost totally white. The other guy, Tank, is 6.5 years old, he's a rescue. He had a rough first half of life but we're making up for it now! Labs are the best. They love my Jeep almost as much as I do!

This is my crazy one, Mocha. I call him Mocha Maniac, it took 4 days of non stop swimming at the lake this past weekend to wear him out. My poor Leo & Lily were exhausted, they are 6 & 9 and very mellow most of the time. Mocha just turned 2 last week and has enough energy for the 3 of them.

I told my husband I'm getting too old for this, haha. Mocha is the 5th Lab I've had and I don't remember any of them being this much work. I love him like crazy though.

He was a rescue of sort. My husband went to Montana hunting in November and brought him home. He was an outside dog in 20 degree weather, no other dogs, not much human companionship. They just put him out on 3 acres and gave him food. Labs are social and he absolutely loves being here, three other dogs and lots of people around all the time. He's very attached to my husband, he knows he brought him to a better place

I had a umm...great uncle I believe...that bred miniature horses. Really cool stuff!

This was him:
Donald Eugene (Donnie) Krohn Jr. Obituary: View Donald Krohn's Obituary by The Arizona Republic

And yep, that's a rough green snake in my avatar...found it on a camping trip to southern IL I make almost every year specifically to search for and photograph snakes with members of my website. I always love the rough green snakes...they're so gorgeous. They're a PIA to find when you're looking for them...but once you quit trying, you usually find em right as you're about to step on them or hanging from a branch right in front of your face.

sorry for your loss s3ntnc3d..., Donnie was a great guy, i would have liked to have known him..

as far as the snake,s go i too have done my share of catching , and you are so right about the rough green --hardest snake to find(at least for me ) but they are awsome little snakes...
around here i catch mostly black, garter, corn, copper head, and rattlers..

but i have handled abot every snake that you can think of or have seen on t.v.
love them...

Lab Lover, Mocha is beautiful! Your rescue story is very similar to how we got Tank. Our dogs are like our kids, it's odd to me that anyone would keep them outside. Awesome that mocha has a good home now!

I absolutely love boxers! Granted I doubt I could do 2 at the same time (at least in an apartment)... thought I could until I watched a friends boxer for 5 days. Ya both had a blast and all they did was run and wrestle around the apartment, but man... they were a handful. So until I get a house/rent a house or at least a place with an enclosed yard it's just my furry 4 legged 3.5 year old child... I mean boxer and myself. Although I think my next dog will be a Boston Terrier. Jake (my boxer) loves to play and wrestle with smaller dogs haha (plus I'm thinking it will be a smidge easier having one big dog and one small dog).
