New Temp: Pic of your Jeep with the car of a relative who's staying over for Thanksgiving. Bonus points if you wish they'd hurry up and leave already.

Picture Challenge Update:

November Challenge of the Month - Pic of your Jeep next to the oldest motor vehicle you can find. Bonus points for pre-1930's. Whoever has the oldest vehicle in a pic next to their Jeep at the end of the month wins.(Winner gets a WF T-shirt and picks next months challenge.)

Open Challenge (runs until completed) - A pic of your Jeep with a graffitied road sign- bonus if 55 MPH speed limit is crossed out.

Normal Challenge (runs for 48 hrs) - Pic of your Jeep at a church. ***Expires 11/27 at 1:57 AM ET***

Temp Challenge (runs for 24 hrs) - Pic of your Jeep muddy at church. ***Expires 11/26 at 3:16 AM ET***

You must complete a challenge or be the first to post a new one after one expires (please label which challenge it is!) to make a new challenge. I usually give them a little extra time then announce them as expired.

You have two hours after completing a challenge to post your new one. This should be enough for you to get home, work, back in cell service, or just to think something up. After that, we'll treat it like an expired challenge.

For the Monthly Challenge:

1938 Chevy Master Deluxe. I know it won't win, but it just happened to be there in the street as I was driving by. Pretty cool old ride and it's got an inline 6 as well.

Also for the Monthly Challenge, this one could win it:

This beauty was built in 1898. We did say it didn't have to be running, right?

I like the creativity (and the pic), but I'm not sure if a steam engine loco counts as a motor vehicle. I'll leave that up to Commander Solo since it was his challenge.

Hook a chain to the front of the steam engine, then to your Jeep...

Interesting engine. Started its life as an Alco 2-6-0 serial number 1815 and now it's a 0-6-0. The front bogey has gone missing along the way. Owned by Wyoming Rail Company until they went bust. Now it's CBQ 1175 (Chicago Burlington & Quincy).

That photo of the old steam loco doesn't have to qualify though, I just submitted it to shake things up a bit. It really is just an empty husk of an old locomotive, been pretty well stripped. I will argue though that it is a vehicle with a motor. At least it had a motor.

I am impressed with your research skills from the other side of the planet. How did you find out all that? You actually have it backwards. It was first built for the CB&Q and they sold it to the Wyoming Rail Co. where it served until they went under. That's how it ended up in Buffalo. The Wyoming Rail Co. ran a rail spur from Buffalo to the real rail line about 50 miles away. If you're interested in such things, I can send you a book about it. The line was called "Duffys Bluff". Just sent you a PM.

OK, carry on.

The loco does count, I was hoping people would get creative. If it has a motor that powers it then it counts.

Cool, since it counts Wyoplinker is in the lead with an 1898. Since you're a previous winner I'll get you a different shirt if it holds up.
