I have seen this on a few other forums so I thought I'd try it on my favorite. This i show it works: There is a challenge to take a picture of your jeep/ you and your jeep doing something (fun). First person to post pix gets to call the next challenge.
First challenge: take a picture with a tow strap between your jeep and a school bus

Rules:

If the picture involves touching another vehicle you MUST ask the owner FIRST.

It's only temporary. If they start putting beach open's and normal's then the snow people won't be happy. Let them have their fun. Not everyone should be able to complete every challenge. Otherwise I'dask for no American challenges since I'm not in America. :)

It forces me to take photos of my Jeep every day of the year and store them. It's the middle of summer here and it snowed two weeks ago in the pass. Global warming?

That's it! I demand that ALL challenges be made for the High Desert ONLY! You can only take pic if you are above an elevation of 5,000ft. It must be a snow pic in July in North America with an airplane in the pic. You must have purple skin in yellow shorts and have already filled out a 500 page permit. If these guidelines are not met then fine I will just have to drive my jeep and enjoy this thread instead. I am unhappily happy about being happy and I don't have to take it anymore. I will just be happy. Happy day.

(these views are that of a raving mad
Infidel and should Not be considered!)

Everyone wins. That's the beauty of this thread. It's a great excuse to get out and enjoy your Jeep, and to look at Jeep pics. Hell, one of the things I like about it is anytime I'm driving the Jeep there's a reason to be on the lookout for a photo oportunity, something to drive on, or an idea for a new challenge. It's free, and I think it makes owning a Wrangler that much better. One of the reasons I liked this thread from the beginning is that any Wrangler can compete, from a stocker to a full out comp rig. The playing feild is equal, humerous, and all in good fun. Snow just happens to be in right now (all of mine is gone), every season has it's common themes. I think I did the "Top down, doors off in the rain challenge" about 4 different times this summer, lol. I like the variety we have with different regions and terrain, it shows the versitility of a real Jeep.

Picture Challenge Update:

January Challenge Of The Month - Pic of your Jeep in a "WTF" picture. (Something you look at and think "WTF?") It can be real or staged, the funnier the better. Anything from catching a "Person of Wall-Mart" walking by your Jeep, to parking next to a Civic upside down in the powerlines with clowns in it. Feel free to stage an event, enjoy your Jeep and get creative. Enter as many pics as you like, no limit. (Example pics on page 208 on a PC, page 415 on an iPhone.)

We are going to have an all out vote. So entries have to be in by Midnight January 31st EST. Then until Midnight February 2nd, EVERYONE GETS ONE VOTE, sent to me by PM. The pic with the most votes wins.

The Winner gets a T-shirt of their choice from Off Road Gear and picks the next months challenge.

Open Challenge (runs until completed) - Pic of you or someone standing on your Jeep using it as a stool/ladder. Bumper, tub, hood.....whatever. Just needs to be serving some purpose not just standing there waiving like ......:wavey:. Oh and not because you are stuck in mud up to your frame. Some other utility unrelated to the Jeep.

Normal Challenge (runs for 48 hrs) - Pic of your Jeep with a nice whitetail buck on the back. Bonus points for every tine over 8. ***Expires 1/19 at 01:30 AM ET***

Temp Challenge (runs for 24 hrs) - Pic of you riding topless and it snowing. ***Expires 1/18 at 8:19 AM ET***
This has potential for some serious bonus points, lol.

You must complete a challenge or be the first to post a new one after one expires (please label which challenge it is!) to make a new challenge. I usually give them a little extra time then announce them as expired.

You have two hours after completing a challenge to post your new one. This should be enough for you to get home, work, back in cell service, or just to think something up. After that, we'll treat it like an expired challenge.

Temp challenge. Was a few weeks ago. Was -28C. Im in north central Alberta. Had to take top off to do some tinkering so I decided to go for a drive. Yes the heaters are good...but not THAT good. Lol

Bryce

Next temp challenge, your wheels coated with ice.

(Do I get to make a challenge? I dunno. But I just did....)

You can't complete your own challenge. It'd make it a dull one man, who can post the fastest, thread if you could.

Sorry Bryce if it wasn't clear, but like T-Virus said, you can't complete your own challenges. You can use your own pics as examples when you make a new one however. Good pics though. We'll work your new challenge in when one expires.

Whatcha use for the flag poles and how'd you attach em?
Just got some plain black flag poles from Lowes & some of the large black zip ties. I unzipped the cloth from around the roll bars, zip tied them on & zipped the cloth back up over them. It works great but I wasn't going over 50 MPH. Just make sure you get the good flags with heavy rings on them!

I have a very cheap setup and been looking at better options. Yours is one of the best I've seen

I actually had this idea for a monthly challenge also.

Temp Challenge (runs for 24 hrs) - Pic of a Jeep and a live camel. ***Expires 1/20 at 3:00 PM ET***
