The more yellow Jeeps I see, the more I like them.

Blimey, Canis, wearing that armour in Mississippi must be hot! I'd go for the other great Medieval Welsh weapon and carry a longbow.

That would be a good choice! The in the hands of the welsh, the longbow literally determined the course of history in ways that we feel to this day.

We do include combat archery in some of our battles, and I think it adds a neat feel to them. I took an arrow in the chest at this event, asa matter of fact! They feel like a hard punch at close range. lol

It can be very hot, and you will see people keel over occasionally in hot weather. We have to be very careful about staying hydrated, and paying attention to how we are feeling, and watching our friends for symptoms.

Missisipi was not bad last month. 70's during the day and low humidity, and chilly enough at night to break our the wool clothing.

I am authentic from the skin out when I fight, which means I am wearing basic linen clothes under that armor, and it might not seem like it, but that really helps. Linen is very breathable & wicks sweat very well.

regards, Canis

Well I took my Smittybilt tube bumpers off and have them for sale on craigslist. I'm not quite sure what I want to get yet.
I like the way the Smittybilt SRC bumper looks, but I'm not sure about the quality. I want to get something that will last and is strong.

I really like the Genright Trail Stinger though. I definitely will not be able to afford the stinger and bumper combo. If I went with it, I would have to get the bolt on version.

If you have any suggestions, please make them.

I got smittybilt and should've spent more but I run the src classics. Ill ne getting a local guy to fab the next set. I've heard of people easily damaging the smittybily xrc's but they do look sharp.
