I was just thinking about winter. Can't wait to see how my new G/Y Dura Tracs are in the snow.

Well we didn't much snow this year. The one good size storm we had was before I had the jeep. I didn't take any pictures from the next storm.but I did get these from a dusting.

I think the Ice looks really neat coming off the jeep.

Yeah it was pretty awesome.. coyote found an old mine on his GPS so we went down and found it.. it wasn't until the way back up that some of us had issues getting through the snow..

Oh that's freaking awesome. If love to go explore something like that. Too bad mass is boring and don't have no mines.

This is my favorite pic of the whole trip.. you can see the mine entrance. Couldn't find any info on what used to be mined there.. but the entrance is sealed off with steel bars about 15 ft into the opening.. we figured it would make a good photo op

Gonna do just fine. They're rated for emergency vehicle use & have holes to screw studs in them .

Last year, mine only failed me when the snow was deeper than the top of my axles! And then, it I had been able to get a good amount of momentum, they probably would have done just fine.

Take along a tow / recovery strap. I pulled a lot of people out of the snow last year. A LOT!

The State of California called this winter snow season the heaviest since 1951! I believe it!!!

As much as I hate to see summer getting close to an end, I have to admit I am looking forward to snow wheeling season! Here's a few from last year:
