My rig updated with a 1996 viking popup. It's an 8ft in a 6.5' bed. I made my own custom pin mount setup. hooked to the frame underneath. 4 pins and it's hooked up. Also my custom aux battery under truck mount. Made by me as well.
I am also running timbren helpers in the rear now too. Love those!
Some pics of it all hooked up:
My aux battery mount:
It drops down with two jack screws to access the battery. It's mounted under the passenger side. I built the box and jack system myself.
Aux battery switch and plow solenoids:
I can connect or disconnect the aux battery with the switch.

This was my tow rig for a few years. Just got rid of her about a month ago. She cleaned up well, but I still got her dirty on the weekends. Now I just use a stock '12 silverado, but would rather just drive the jeep when I can.
The tailights were spray painted black when I bought the truck 5 years ago. I just scraped it off where I needed to because I'm cheap like that
This is my 1996 Thomas/Ford B700. It's a 72 passenger, so it's a big sucker at just under 40 feet long. Right now it's pretty much gutted, but I'm going to be starting the process of converting it to an RV very soon. It has a 5.9L Cummins in it. My only real complaint with it is with the gearing in the axle. It's a bit low. Top speed is about 68 MPH, but it likes to run between 55 and 60. My plan is to bump up the power output on the Cummins and re-gear the rear end for a little better top speed.
This is how it looks right now with just the primer.
how much does that weigh? I am in the market for a trailer like that for the occasions i need to haul more then i can fit in the back of my jeep. most of the ones i have found are a little heavy for my 2 door with its 2500lb tow rating.
I wrecked my nice truck and bought my wife a hemi grand Cherokee so I wouldnt get in too much trouble for totalling my cummins.I will replace the cummins some day..Still have this old ford truck that gets er done. It wont win any races but Ive pulled 13,000 pounds with it no problem. 1993 F250 4x4 7.3 IDI 5spd. 240,xxx miles on all original running gear and maybe 10% of that have been without a trailer hooked to it. It actually has a kinda cool history. A rodeo clown owned it and pulled a 5 horse slant all over the country with it... We have the horse trailer too.
My jeep hauler doubles as a hay wagon and is barn built. 16' 4"x 82" deck. 7k with one brake axle.
Here's our tow rig, 05 Ram CTD...either the 24'er with the ATV's loaded or the 31ft camper. That pretty much stays at the hunting camp. And the TJ is pulling DD & trail duty since I don't have a car trailer yet. But I can see myself wanting one real soon.
