Well, thats why I also have a sawed off 12ga, XDm, 300mag and a SKS. I choose my weapon based on current need........
As you saw in the pictures, we supprise attacked from behind so blades were satisfactory.....

They had a tank in Season 1 of The Walking Dead. No soldiers in it, and it was a place where Rick Grimes took refuge when he was almost overcome by zombies.... (I really need to get a life ) Point is, without a supply of fuel and ammo a tank "COULD" be a death trap

Hello Z.O.R.T Members. Decals on order!
I've reread the whole thread again, and wanted to added to the list of Zombie Stories that Im sure everyone here will enjoy!
1. Day by Day Armageddon
2. DBDA II Beyond Exile

Both by J.L. Bourne, told in first person journal format.

I have the Audio books and listen, while driving the Jeep, good times!

3." We're Alive" Zombie Podcast in multiple charcter format, 2 seasons out, havent heard myself, but reviews are great.

Enjoy

Got my "Official Zombie Hunter Window Permit".

I dont have an actual pic of the one I picked up local, but I purchased a window decal just like this one but 2011-2015 for dates and no skull in the middle.

Looks just like my old "Terrorist Hunting Permit". My brother bagged more than I did when he was in the Air Force, but I at least bought the stamp!...

Just read about a new zombie gun to add to my collection. Kel-Tec bullpup 12 gauge. 14+1 rounds! It's pump action instead of semi auto like a Siaga, but much more compact. Better for close quarters. And it looks bad ass, which is part of qualifying as a zombie gun!

That reminds me, we never established "Zombie Gun" qualifications... I've laughingly read articles in gun magazines about companies making guns just for this. Some even have ridiculous paint jobs, etc. Think we should set up some ground rules? I'm bored at work, so I guess I'll list my opinion (agreed upon by gun nut friends also looking for reasons to get new toys!).
These guidelines are based on the following rules established on BS acquired from created stories about fictional events that may or may not actually happen...
The main goal is to remove the brain or separate it from the stem, so we're looking for calibers that are big enough to expand and remove large chunks of material. Like anything else, nothing is perfect for everything. Some will be better for close range, others for distance. So here it goes:
1) Must be over .30 cal.
2) Bonus points for one shot kill possibility (larger caliber usually better)
3) More firepower the better. Blend of fast reloading time and amount of ordinance fired. Example, a more effective round fired slower could trump a faster firing and reloading less effective round. (Garand VS standard AR).
4) More Bad Ass the better. You're probably going to die anyway, don't go down looking like a bitch...
5) Bonus points for uniqueness. Shooting one is boring if you can drop a piano on one... Old school and military, flamethrowers, black powder, rare, custom, combination guns, bayonets,etc..
6) Jeep bumpers should be able to qualify. Bumper should be able to withstand driving through a crowd. Come to think of it, I'd probably have to put my doors back on... That sucks...
Also see rule #4
7) Shotguns must be 16 gauge or larger. Exceptions could be made for 20 gauge converted to full auto, see rule 5.

That's all I got for now, feel free to add recommendations/ opinions.

I like that. Was shopping for a fun gun yesterday. My criteria was availability and cost of ammo though. Maybe cost isn't an issue for an outbreak though.
