We've had 3 or 4 people stumble upon these in the thread so far and I'm very curious as to how they shoot. Accuracy. FTF. FTE. And such. I'm gonna buy a box for my .45 acp soon hopefully.

I had one. Really comfy on the grip. Very ergo.. Snappy shooter. Pretty stout kicker but then again.. it's a 40. I loved it! Only reason I sold it was because I needed money for my sequential kimber raptors, at that time.

@siliy yea they do kick pretty good. It sucks living in city and going to school you have no time to do anything and there is no where to shoot around here with out driving for days or paying a member fee to shoot at private range!

I held one in the store the other day and it felt great. Much more ergonomic than the FNH I bought.

I'm biased, but as far as ergonomics, nothing fits my hand better than a Baretta 92 FS... (Go ahead perverts!) lol

Not many people admit to that. When you tie enough of them together, they do make for an acceptable boat anchor...

I'm an equal opportunity gun lover. Like them all. I had 2 of them willed to me at a young age. Tritium sights, 8 15rd clips. Lots of sentimental value. I'm great with them and they feel like they were made for my hand. I've got others, but love these. Never had a problem with them. I'm man enough to not need the newest best bragging rights shooter around. Besides, a bb hitting the target does you better than a .50 cal in the ground.

Amen. Love those too. Something about any military issue (or civilian equivalent) that the history buff in me loves.

My bad i havent been on in awhile. Long term plan is to hold down the country club start a garden and hunt. my brothers and I have hunted since like 8 yrs old and thats sufficient. the best part is only one road enters the club and is straight and long as hell. We figure that the large kitchen and fridge would be perfect for sustaining about 25-30 peps.

Hmm. I'm gonna use my home town numbers for this. You have a country club so I'm assuming you don't live in the stix. 75,000 people plus or minus wanderers. You really expect to handle 100,000 undead feeding frenzies? Short term is fight to survive. i.e. the country club idea. But that area will get hot QUICK. Long term plan (long term being 2-4 months after first contact) is not a fight to eradicate. You can't beat the horde. You have to out run/maneuver and survive.

Not shooting down your ideas. I just feel everyone needs to be educated in proper zombie survival techniques.

And I'd agree with your analysis 100% but my hometown consist of maybe 1000 people. Mostly older retired people with money hence the club. And although that may be a good fight the terrain and natural barriers make it a perfect strong hold for extended periods of time. For practical purposes that you brought the club is a year long strategy max. Regroup, train, and plan basically. The two sixty foot boats at the club could easily get us down the coast but that's my plan my brother disagrees. The one speed bump I might have is the ammunitions cache to support that type of fortifying. Any ideas? And I can't afford to stock pile much of anything.

Well I'm obviously not ACTUALLY stockpiling for the zombie apocalypse. But if I was. 200 rds of self defense should get you through about anything. Do NOT underestimate the 22 long rifle round. Biggest problem is no stopping power. But since headshots are all that matter. It's perfect. Cheap and reliable. Other than that. Looting after everything is fubar would be my first choice. I wouldn't stockpile to much cuz that means that you have to carry it. One way or another. I still think that staying on the move is the safest thing till you find a zombie free region. large casualty weapons are a must if your gonna sit. Car bomb barriers. High powered electric fences. Binary explosives. Uncovered Landmines so survivors don't get blown to bits. Also. Don't forget, if an area is considered lost overly hostile primarily infested the military will most likely cut Losses carpet bomb the whole damn place and you'll be collateral damage with your name engraved on a memorial somewhere.

its easy living with sustainable resources on a farm. hunting is fun and if is that rural the likely hood of a massive zombie engagement is low

Yep there is a bung of deer and turkey as well as fishing. And it depends on how the zombie sickness starts and spreads I guess right?
