Gor for the Springfield XDm .40 You won't be disappointed. I have the 3.8 barrel and I LOVE it. very accurate, little more "muzzle flip" due to the shorter barrel but it gets right back on target. No "manual" safety switch, thought it does have the "glock" style trigger safety, and the integrated palm switch on the back of the handle. The XDm .40 mags hold 16 .40 rounds plus one in the chamber. And having 3 mags, gives you 49 rounds. LOVE it!
