Looking to talk partner with my father on a 400 Acre ranch with a lot of rocks, 3 gravel pits, steep uphill trails, 3 cattle tanks 2 with water.

I have inquired about it with him but he isnt sure about how to go about getting started.

Does anyone have information for me to get started ?

Legal liability
day use price
ect.

We are located 11 miles west of Hamilton on Hwy 36 and about 8 miles back off the beaten path on a CR dirt road.

Talked with him and looked at the property and he said he could do a weekend only outings and he needs to have someone draw up some liability contracts..
He said group use would probably be what he is looking more into.
Let me know if there are anyone here that would be willing to come out and play..

If you would like I can post this on the lonestarjeepclub forum most of the members are from Texas and are always looking for a new place to wheel so it might get you a few more visitors and there might be someone on there that could help you with the legal forms and contracts

I'm all the way up in NW Louisiana, but I have plenty of friends that would be down for a 4 hour drive to do some good wheeling, especially if we could camp there and make a weekend out of it. Let me know how it goes and if you need a hand with anything, I need an excuse to take leave :thumb:

I'm 30 miles east of Austin. Puts me about an hour and a half from Hamilton.
I'd definately be up for it if the rate is right. There is also an off-raod park in the Marble Falls area, might wanna check them out for competitive offerings.

In looking your area over on Google Earth, I see yall have an airport just outside of Hamilton. Could be we can coordinate a jeep-in and a fly-in. I know lots of folks with airplanes and always in search of places to go in them. They could fly into the airport, git picked-up in jeeps. Head out to your place for the day (perhaps camp-out) and then back to the airport to depart.

Certainly sounds like there is potential.

Keep us posted, plz.

How has the land been coming along? Only about an hour and a half from Waco.

I live in Round Rock, just north of Austin. I'd definitely be down for some adventure. Haven't been to any dedicated offroad parks yet, but I believe the one outside of Marble Falls was charging $85 for a weekend pass over the Labor Day weekend.
