Jeep Profile
Johnson Valley Update

Saw this on another forum today.

http://www.29palms.usmc.mil/las/docs/... June%2009.pdf

The OHV "community" has spoken up and provided by far most of the comments. We all need to pay attention when the draft EIS (Environmental Impact Statement) is published and sent out for review.

A quote from the summary:

"The interdisciplinary EIS team will consider and address relevant scoping comments during preparation of the Draft EIS. When the Draft EIS is published, the public will have an opportunity to review the document and provide comments. The Draft EIS public comments will be reviewed and responded to by the EIS interdisciplinary team during preparation of the Final EIS."

IMHO, it sounds like they are going to be limiting where we can and cant use for recreational offroading.
I could be wrong.
