Where in Brewster, North Salem and Carmel do you know of trails? I live in Carmel and I'm dying to find someone to ride with as well as truly get my Blue nugget filthy!
There is no public land in the Northeast, unfortunately. If you want to hit some legal trails you need to head to Rausch Creek Off Road Park in PA or a handful of legal "roads" scattered about New England. Of course, those places aren't often posted for everyone to see because then they'd be overrun and eventually shut down like many, many other places before them. If anyone local is serious about doing some four wheeling shoot me a PM and I'll fill you in on a few weekend trips I have planned for the coming months. My regular group always welcomes new rigs/owners into the fold .
i dont have a jeep(only 15) but there is a spot off hardscrabble road in brewster i know of. It is on the same side as the ice rink and collins brothers moving. I know it isnt illegal, but i ride my dirtbikes up there all the time, and all they may do is ask you to leave.
Hey looking to pick up a '13 soon. Can anyone recommend any of the dealers in the Westchester area? I know of a couple. Just want to know who is best to deal with.
It's not Westchester, but if you can make it to Dutchess County to Beacon my Salesman was AWESOME, no bs and straight up. In fact we are now friends. PM me if you want his name/number. They matched the lowest price I brought them back in Feb when I factory ordered my Rubi, no BS sales pitch etc...and they knew I knew what I wanted and didnt insult my intelligence with the BS back and fourth games with the sales manager...to me that was worth the world NOT dealing with a SLIMEBALL SCUMBAG LIARS like i've done in the past.
Where in Westchester? From my experience, and from what I've heard, New Rochelle sucks. One of my buddies works at the White Plains one, and they have a really good service department.
I'vs used the White Plains one for wife's Hyundai and service has been great. We are planning on trading in her commuter car for my jeep so was leaning towards the White Plains Jeep / Hyundai dealership. I haven't dealt with their sales department yet. I agree with the new Rochelle comment. My experiences with dealerships down there have not been great. Dutchess may be a little far but if things don't work out down here ( I live near WP) then I'll look consider the drive up.
Hey just saw this thread im fairly new tomthe jeep community but im right in hudson valley so im very close tomyounguys in westchester id love to go wheelin sometime
