off-road trails in eastern/central massachusetts

Brand new to this forum and just looking for some help in where to find some offroad trails in Massachusetts. Nothing hairy, just some comfortable trails to spend an afternoon exploring....

Most people will say join a club since a good majority of people like to keep the trails they run to themselves. I know of a few on the MA/CT/RI border but thats about it.

Bingo! But it is not that we want to keep them to ourself. We dont post up details online because we are in a constant fight to keep the trails we have left open. If we post up online you never know what idiots are going to go on them and end up having them closed on us. There are a ton of trails in Mass as well as Clubs that you can join. Plus it is always a plus having fellow jeepers to wheel with.

Yep, we do not post trails online for many reasons. Here is a link to the local Mass. part of the forum, check it out to meet other locals who can show you some trails:

I know my own trails thankfully. I go there every few months. Or when we get good snow in the winter. I'd like to join a club but I get maybe three Saturdays off a year, the rest of the time I have Tuesdays and Fridays off. Cant see paying dues to maybe have the opportunity to wheel once or twice a year and even that might be a stretch with my schedule.
