Am I the only one on the board that has private land to wheel on?

I dont have private land, but it is like public use free land. My family is from the hills of eastern, ky. Most of the abandoned strip mines are fair game as well as the trails that connect them through the backwoods. There are enough 4wheeler trails that you can ride two full days and never see the same trail covering and area about 150 square miles. Trails large enough for Jeeps are fewer and far between bt still provide a good days ride with challenging trails through deep water and over some tall obstacles. But the best part has to be that it is free.

HELL YEA! Once I get my Jeep, you can take a trip out here to hit my trails. Week/weekend however long you wanna stay.

I have 3 Jeep buddies here. One is in Ft. Drum, NY waiting to be shipped out to Afghanistan, one is at school in Connecticut, and the other doesn't wanna mess up his DD (Liberty).

I GOTS NOBODY!!!

Nope. I have 1500 acres of private land that my brother-in-law is the caretaker of. It is a christian camp. Lots of rocky trails and creekbeds. My other brother-in-law owns 900 acres of farm land that is flat and has several bodies of water on them. I bow hunt on the 1500 acre spread and gun hunt on the 900 acre tract. Meanwhile I can use the heep on the rocks and trails or the mud, depending on what mood I am in.

Glad to hear it. I thought because of all of the talk about places where you "pay to play" that nobody had their own land.

A lot of the east coast has already lost the public places to wheel where they don't have to pay a fee. Not necessarily private, but I'm talking about federal lands that is basically our right as Americans to recreate on. Out west we have learned from those times and are doing our best to keep our public lands open to OHV recreation.

There's a ton of public land in PA. The Delaware State Forrest has many trails open to "motorized vehicles". I just found a ton of them just last weekend.

Yup...Pennsatucky is not much different than your West Milford hillbilly neighbors. We just pay a lot less in our taxes...

I can say that, I was raised in Morris County. Mr brother lives down the road from you in Vernon.

Way... He lives a little north of the old Hay Loft bar (before the ski resort). As kids, we all grew up in Jefferson Twp. so I know North Jersey like the back of my hand.

He and I had a couple of CJ's when we were growing up.... However, he's does not have one now.... I bought an '02 Wrangler last year and restarted my obsession with Jeeps.... These TJ's are an incredible platforms.

No disrespect to the fine people of West Milford, but I think they are poser Hill Billy's. You have to cross the Deleware and then you are in real Hill Billy territory....I know..I'm living it bro, the rumors are true.

HAHAHA I know it all too well! I go to Matamoras to get cheap smokes and Skoal.

I can see the slopes from my house, and I worked at the Vernon Burger King for a time, so chances are I've made food for your brother!

Damn its a small world.
