Riding north GA

Just got a jeep and looking to take my son riding tomorrow. Any legal recommendations north of Kennesaw GA ( up 75 or 575)?

Any clubs in this area?
Thanks

You can check on this site, Main Page - Dirtopia, the Off-Road Encyclopedia. Also, check in the Georgia section of the forum, for local clubs.

Try Beasley Knob

Try the Beasley Knob trails near Blairsville, GA. They are US Forest Service. You'll pass the Forest Service office which is on the left 3 miles before Blairsville. They also have maps online.

It's not terribly local, but durhamtown on I-20 east is a really nice place to wheel. It's a little bit of a haul from Kennesaw, but we used to go all the time from the Alpharetta/Cumming area and it was worth it. Decent little shop there as well. They specialize with dirt bikes, but when I destroyed my rear drive shaft on a rather intense hill climb, they helped me macgyver everything back together well enough to nurse my YJ back home. Didn't charge me a dime either.
