Where are you at? Uwharrie (URE) National Forest is about as good as it gets. URE is in Troy NC.

I'm located about an hour east of Raleigh.

The good thing about NC is that the people there are pretty chill about offroading. I've noticed that there are a ton of little places you can find to get in "trouble" as long as you have time to look around and observe the private property signs.I'm hoping to hit Uwharrie on the weekend of June 14, 15 with the whole family (Dad, mom, hubby, kid, and kid sister).

Yeh your right. We try to look around. It's hard now a days bc there's so much private land with no trespassing signs. No I'm not I will joking though. Thanks!

I've been trying to find a place myself. I just purchased my first Jeep about a month ago and have been itching to take it out on the trails. I live in Wilkes, but its tough to find a place that isn't private property here either.

Hopefully you'll be able to soon. Congrats on the new jeep! That's exciting.
